This newly created leadership position with accessAbilities, Inc. will provide the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Information Technology Department.

Responsibilities
This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the Agency’s overall technology strategy and plan to include the planning, implementation, management, administration, security and technical support of the Agency’s information technology across program/department lines.  The Information Technology Director develops and administers the policies and goals of the department, coordinates implementation through Information Technology staff and provides support by demonstrating and promoting a high level of leadership and accountability.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (Master’s preferred) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field and four to six years of related experience including three to five years supervision of professional staff and team development.

Strong verbal and written interpersonal communication skills; advanced-level computer skills; ability to think strategically and integrate financial/business information with operational decisions; be skilled at planning and managing multiple projects; possess a strong ability to identify, analyze, solve problems and make quality decisions; have the proven ability to develop professional staff and promote collaboration; and regularly demonstrate dynamic leadership and the promotion of quality values.
