NEWLY CREATED FULL-TIME POSITION: Project Manager
(for a collaborative workforce development & experiential education regional effort)
COMPENSATION: 45-55K (DOE) & Benefits
PURPOSE: Support the collective efforts of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Tooling & Machining Association and the Southwestern PA BotsIQ Management Committee to assure that youth interest in manufacturing is generated through hands-on activities, connected to manufacturing employers, and results in employment in the manufacturing industry.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to articulate and promote a vision
- Problem solving ability where independent judgment is required
- Excellent accuracy, organizational skills, and accountability
- Ability to achieve goals, compile and maintain data and communicate detailed outcomes
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and professional skills
- Ability to work as a team as well as work independently with little supervision
- Willingness and ability to accommodate a flexible work schedule including minimal evenings and weekends
- Ability to establish rapport with youth, parents, educators, and business leaders
- Ability to multi-task and set priorities
- Significant driving/traveling in southwestern PA, so must have access to reliable and insured transportation, and possesses a valid driver’s license.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: B.S. in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field required. Minimum 2 years previous experience in project development and management. Previous experience with sponsorship solicitation and marketing/PR preferred. Knowledge of the manufacturing industry and experience providing youth services a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional
