Position:  Adult Mental Health Director

Location:  McMurray

Reports to:  County Director

Status: Exempt

Compensation: Negotiable       

Hours: 40 hours per week

RequirementsA Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services and five years of experience in a public or private human services organization with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provide clinical consultation and education to staff and consumers regarding the recovery process and the agency recovery philosophy.
  2. Oversight of program administration, staff management, supervision and training of all Adult Behavioral Health programs.
  3. Assure that each program meets licensure requirements, all regulations and program guidelines.
  4. Participate in interviewing, hiring, training and termination of all employees.
  5. Assure that all agency and corporate policies and procedures are met.
  6. Assist in development and overall administration of Continuum Service budgets.
  7. Direct and monitor revenue generating and billing activity.
  8. Direct supervision of the supervisors for the Adult Behavioral Health Continuum.
  9. Assure necessary documentation is completed to meet MCO and any licensure/audit requirements.
  10. Assist in development of staff training and ensure all staff are trained in a timely manner.
  11. Function as liaison with community providers, MCO, and county staff.
  12. Function as liaison with Service Line Leadership.
  13. Perform intakes and assessments and MCO treatment requests as needed.
  14. Provide consultation to staff on cases as needed.
  15. Assist in development of Policy and Procedures as practice guidelines and outcomes for the AMH Continuum.
  16. Attend trainings as required.
  17. With County Director, identify, work toward and achieve professional goals.
  18. Work with County Director and Brand Leader to ed existing and develop new service in the Continuum.
  19. Work with PQI Team Management and Brand Leader on on-going evaluation of Behavioral Health programs.
  20. Complete all other duties as assigned.
