Capital Campaign Director, East End Cooperative Ministry - Pittsburgh, PA

The Capital Campaign Director of East End Cooperative Ministry (EECM) will lead an ambitious, strategic and exciting capital campaign.  This position will work closely with the Executive Director, Capital Campaign Committee, development staff members, and the campaign’s consultants in the implementation and management of all aspects of the campaign.  This position will manage the day-to-day activities of the campaign; cultivate and solicit major campaign gifts from individuals, foundations and corporations and manage a personal portfolio of donors and prospects.  When the capital campaign ends, this position will transition to a major gifts position with the agency.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be a college graduate who is a person of unquestioned integrity, is highly respected, honors commitments and who deals with people in a straightforward, personable and honest fashion.  The Capital Campaign Director will be a highly organized results-oriented and energetic self-starter with a proven record in successfully meeting fundraising goals and is a highly skilled grant writer.  This will be a person who engenders support among colleagues, staff and the community by virtue of her/his knowledge, experience, creativity, vision and dedication to the agency’s mission.  She/he must be familiar with giving trends and patterns in the area who is highly successful in soliciting and procuring major gifts.  This will be a person with a broad and deep knowledge of fundraising principles; is highly proficient in and has excellent proven verbal, written and computer skills; is highly proficient in fundraising database applications and reports; can maintain a flexible schedule; is outcome oriented and performance and deadline driven.

Salary Range

Commensurate with experience, education and previous related achievements.  Medical, life, disability, paid vacation, holidays and sick days.
