REQUISITION NUMBER: #081164 JOB SUMMARY: Primary responsibilities include the development and implementation of strategies to generate gifts from trustees, members, donors and prospects for the Annual Giving Campaign. Provides professional guidance for annual goal setting, and leadership in identifying and executing strategies that can be achieved through annual fund solicitations. The manager recruits fundraising volunteers, cultivates prospects and acquires gifts and sponsorships on an annual basis from individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations. Supervises the direct mail and web-based programs. Responsible for analyzing and evaluating results of various solicitation activities. May supervise staff. REQUIREMENTS: Must manage all components of the Annual giving Campaign, including but not limited to the Donor Plus Program, Staff Campaign, EITC Program, event sponsorships, honors and memorials, the Annual Report, Friends of the Library, matching gifts, direct mail and web-based programs and all other appeals used to generate annual gifts. Provide professional guidance for goal setting and leadership in identifying and executing strategies that can be achieved through annual solicitations. Track fundraising progress toward established goals. Create and implement a comprehensive plan detailing the Annual Giving solicitation timeline, goals and reporting frequency to ensure the effective solicitations of all donors. Develop, implement and evaluate donor recognition programs targeted to acquire new donors and upgrade existing donors. Identify potential funders, deadlines and programmatic funding opportunities for annual gifts. Assist with development events to increase donor support or to acquire new donors. Manage the tribute/memorial program, including the Name in a Book process. Steward gifts, and administer and monitor Annual Fund budget. Communicate frequently and work collaboratively with staff, administrators and volunteers to increase support and to meet CLP’s strategic goals. Bachelor’s degree and five or more years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. WORK HOURS: 37.5 SALARY: $41,135-$57,549
