HIV PREVENTION COUNSELOR/TESTER The Pittsburgh AIDS Task Force is seeking an enthusiastic HIV Prevention Counselor/Tester for a federally funded program targeting gay men. Job tasks include performing HIV Testing and Counseling in accordance with PA Act 148, developing and implementing recruitment activities, completing all client records, statistical reports, and outcome surveys. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, knowledge of HIV disease, substance abuse and the harm reduction model for behavioral change, and the ability to counsel clients in relation to reducing their risk. Exceptional work ethics and ability to work non-traditional hours a must.
