The Executive Director of the Laurel Highlands Visitors Bureau, a destination marketing organization, works to promote the wonders and amazing attractions found throughout Somerset, Westmoreland and Fayette counties in Pennsylvania. The LHVB seeks a dynamic, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented professional to oversee all operating functions. The position reports to the Board of Directors and along with staff works closely with membership to implement the strategic plan for promoting tourism in the Laurel Highlands. The successful candidate will have strong marketing and fiscal management skills; excellent relationship-building skills with a proven track record in working with multiple constituencies; and at least five year’s managerial/supervisory experience. Experience in the development of strategic marketing plans is required. Background in public relations, non-profit management, government affairs, and familiarity with the tourism industry is desired. Bachelor’s degree in management, marketing, or a related field.
