President, Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh - Pittsburgh, PA

Reports to: BVRS Board of Directors

Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh (BVRS) is seeking a skilled, experienced, and committed professional for the position of President. Under the direct supervision of the Board, the President, is responsible for overseeing internal and external Agency operations, including but not limited to client services, finances, development, public relations, facilities, and personnel management. In addition, the President will build and maintain relationships with other community-based organizations and agencies, and represent the Agency’s interests on both a local and state level.

The successful candidate must possess:

*a minimum of five years demonstrated successful executive leadership experience including financial management, strategic planning, fundraising, and personnel management

*an understanding of the physical and philosophical concerns of persons who are blind or vision impaired

*a minimum of a Masters degree

*excellent verbal and written communication skills
